Jack Leon Sullivan, Sr.

Jack Leon Sullivan, Sr., 89, of Hilliard, FL passed away at his home August 1, 2026 following a lengthy illness.  He was born January 9, 1937 in Jacksonville, FL to the late Leon Sullivan and Dorothy Peacock Sullivan.  Mr. Sullivan proudly served his country in the US Air Force for 20 years, retiring in 1976.  He was a proud Vietnam Veteran.  After his military career, he worked as a Production Control Officer for Senniger Irrigation in Clearwater, FL from 1977-1998 and moved to Hilliard, FL following retirement from there.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son:  Jack L. Sullivan, Jr., and a daughter:  Susan M. Smith.

Mr. Sullivan is survived by his wife of 70 years:  Gloria D. Sullivan; his children:  Cynthia L. Hall of New Market, AL; Ronald D. (Rosemary) Sullivan of Vidor, TX and John D. (Sherry) Sullivan of Coffee Spring, AL; a sister:  Jeraldine Marcarges of Stark, FL; 12-grandchildren and 21-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Sunday, August 9, 2026 at Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home - Camden Chapel. 617365 Brandies Avenue, Callahan, Florida from 6-8 PM.  Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 10, 2026 at 1:00 PM in the Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home - Callahan Chapel.  Interment will be Monday, August 10, 2026 at 2:30 PM at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL with full military honors.
