Doris Decot

Doris J. Decot, 89, of Callahan, Florida went to be with the Lord, Friday, June 7, 2024 at the Hadlow Center for Caring Community Hospice.  Doris was born October 11, 1934 in Somerset, Ohio to the late Jonah Andrew Miller and Elizabeth Blanche Dupler Miller.  She retired from the Duval County Public School System after 37 years.  
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband:  William J. Decot; 4-sons:  Stephen Decot, Martin Decot, John Decot and Daniel Decot; 4-brothers and 5-sisters:

Mrs. Doris is survived by her daughter:  Margaret Wilcox; 3-grandchildren:  Debbie, Stephanie (Bryan) and Yolanda; 5-great grandchildren:  Brittany, Amber, Kaleb, Bryson and Carter; a son-in-law:  Thurman; daughters-in-law:  Rose and Kitty; a brother:  Paul E. Miller and many nieces, nephews and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, June 14 from 6-8 PM at the Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home - Callahan Chapel, 617365 Brandies Avenue, Callahan, Florida.  A graveside funeral service will be held Saturday, June 15 at 10:00 AM in Jones Cemetery in Callahan, Florida.
