Daisy Mae Browning

Daisy Mae Browning (Trent) of Callahan, FL. went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 26, 2025 at the young age of 88. She was born December 2, 1936 in Amherstdale , West Virginia. Daisy enjoyed traveling with her husband Richard of 64+ years. The two were wed after only knowing each other for 6 weeks. 

Daisy was a former little league coach for most of her children,, Little League president, and Librarian for Callahan Junior High School. She was a lover of music and even sang on the radio as a child. Her main goal in life was to make sure God was first and foremost in all aspects of her life, followed by her husband and her children. She was also a member of the Faith Class at Callahan First Baptist. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Lester Browning. She is survived by her 3 sons; Micheal (Angel) Browning, Matthew (Sharon) Browning, Adam Browning, and 4 daughters; Mary (Lowell) Sparkman, Nora Browning, Susan Browning, and Connie (Vance) Jones, all from Callahan, FL. Her grandchildren; Jason (Amber) Browning, Matthea (Jon) Glass, Eve Sparkman, Bonnie (Joe) Segreti, Gabriel (Sara) Sparkman, Corey Browning, Richard (Lindsey) Sparkman, Nathaniel (Shanda) Browning, Tara Browning, April Sparkman, Christina Jones, Ashlee (Daniel) Crosby, Taylor (Christopher) Torres-King, Tamra Jones, and Lucy Jones; and 30 great-grandchildren.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 7th at Callahan First Baptist Church at 11 o'clock, and will receive friends an hour prior. An interment will immediately follow at Jones Cemetery.
