Celebrating the Life of Colleen Pauley
Colleen Pauley, née Barry, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on July 25, 2026. She was born on November 14, 1979, in Evanston, Illinois. Colleen’s life was defined by her deep love for her family, her resilient spirit, and her unwavering devotion to her children.
Colleen was the proud and loving mother of three children: Kevin Daniel Barry, 29; Katelyn Elizabeth Pauley, 24; and Delanie Colleen Pauley, 18. Her children were her greatest pride and joy. She made sure to instill in them her strength, intelligence, determination, and love, and they will carry her legacy forward in their own lives.
Colleen is survived by her sisters, Kathleen Muisenga, Shannon Beall, and Maureen Barry. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Ann Hardy Barry, and her brothers, Jack Barry and Daniel Barry.
Colleen was a caring, loud, proud, and intelligent woman who faced life’s challenges with remarkable strength and resilience. She touched those around her with her love, support, and encouragement.
Today, we do not say goodbye, but rather, “see you again.” We find comfort knowing Colleen is reunited with her parents and brothers and is now another guardian angel watching over and guiding the family she loved so deeply.
Colleen would not want us to be consumed by sadness. She would want us to cherish her, celebrate her life, laugh at the memories, and continue forward with the strength and values she instilled in us.
The legacy of Colleen Pauley lives on through her children and extended family. Her absence leaves a profound loss, but her memory endures in the love she inspired, the values she imparted, and the lives she touched.
Until we meet again, Colleen.
