Alma Jean Brown

Alma Jean Brown, 67, of Callahan passed away at her home Saturday, October 5, 2024. She was born July 27 in Macon, GA to the late Robert Dupree and Bertha Truelove Dupree. She worked as a waitress for over 40 years at Tina’s Family Restaurant and The Pig BBQ. She enjoyed working in her yard, playing pool and bingo. She was a people person and loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Charles Lee Brown, Sr.

She is survived by her son: Charles Lee Brown, Jr.; her daughters and sons-in-law: Cassie and Cole Johns and Jessica and Eric Battle; 5-grandchildren: Carson Johns, Cameron Johns, Lillith Battle, Enoch Battle and Absolom Battle; 2-sisters: Amanda Bradford and Rebecca Dupree and 1-brother:Tracy (Shannon) Dupree.

Memorialization will be by cremation. A Memorial Service will take place on Thursday, October 17, 2024 at 2:00PM in the Chapel of Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home-Callahan Chapel.
